On
Friday, November 8th our fellowship of independent Baptist pastors and
missionaries met in the city of Ramnicu Valcea. The attendance was
excellent and the preaching was powerful. There were several new folks
who came because the city in which we met is more centrally located in
the country. |
 |
The most exciting order of business was to hear Sergiu Sidor (on the
right) present his desire to plant a new church in the city of Blaj.
Sergiu was one of the two graduates when I was teaching in the college
near Lugoj. It was a joy to see how he has matured in the last couple of
years. Sergiu and his family are already living in Blaj and have begun
evangelistic work. He is also busy visiting the independent Baptist
churches to raise support as a church planting missionary. |

Conforming to EU standards requires Camp Joy to expand the kitchen
facilities. The new addition actually has the roof on and the exterior
walls are covered. Through-out the winter some will go about once a
month, weather permitting, to finish the inside. |
 |
The
EU also required a new building so that we would have a place for a
nurse to do exams which are required as each camper arrives. Several
other rooms will allow greater use of the facilities. We also have a
wood burning boiler for hot water. Under the dormitory on the right we
installed showers. |
