The service on the morning of Sept 7, 2008 was packed. Many visitors came for the baptism of 12 believers.
After the special music and preaching the service moved outside for the baptism. Though it looks like a smaller crowd, no one left. I just couldn't get everyone in the shot.
Youth Pastor Mihai Czentye did the honors. Here is Rebi Ciuciu. Rebi is one of Briana's best friends and is the daughter of one of the deacons.
Paul Beltechi was next. He is the son of Pastor Peter Beltechi and his wife Ella.
Sam and Briana were next. All the young people baptized gave clear testimonies of being saved and they understand that baptism does nothing towards one's salvation.
The Lord blessed several years ago with the funds to purchase this baptistery.

Sam is responding to the question about being saved.

Next were two sisters from the village of Borz.  Ioana (in white) and Adriana have been saved for a while but this summer they decided that they need to give testimony to that fact by baptism.
These three siblings are from the village of Tarcaita. All three were saved this summer. The boy, Florin, was saved at camp and the girls, Mariana (in the foreground) and Ioana were saved at VBS.
Here Mihai enjoys one of the blessings of the ministry, baptizing your own children. The oldest boy is Mita, then Andrea followed by Marcu. These three are some of the sharpest kids in the youth group.

Sorry about the hand to the left. I wasn't the only one in the crowd with a camera.

The couple on the right, Ioan and Cornelia Turcas, are the parents of the three teens who were saved this summer and baptized today. Last winter they began to attend our church, coming in from a village. Their concern was that if they stay in the Baptist Union church that they were attending, they would lose their kids to the world. Praise the Lord for parents concerned enough to make a move for their kids. Not only did they save their teens from the world, they put them in a place were they could hear the Word and be saved for all eternity. On the far left is the sister of Cornelia. Cristina and Florin Ille come from the village of Pocola to church each week.
